The Holgate PhD Studentship

Holgate PhD studentship

We are pleased to announce that the AAIR Charity will consider applications for a Holgate PhD studentship. Funding support provided will include student stipend, tuition fees (and consumables of up to £5000 per year). The studentship duration is 3 years (or 4 years if the application incorporate a specific training course to support an integrated PhD). The Holgate PhD studentship will be for studies into asthma, allergy and respiratory diseases (excluding lung cancer), primarily within the Faculty of Medicine, University of Southampton.

Applications should be submitted by Friday 21st  December  2018, 1700 hours.

Application process

  • The Scientific Committee will review applications in January 2019. The Scientific Committee will make recommendations to the Charity’s Trustees for consideration.  Applicants will be informed by end January 2019.
  • Applications must be submitted using the application forms.
