Thursday 15th December 2016, At 6.30pm St. Deny’s Church, Chilworth
The Asthma, Allergy and Inflammation Research Charity (AAIR) is holding a remembrance and memorial service for families who have lost loved ones, for whatever reason.
There will be a Xmas theme together with tea, coffee and mince pies.
All Faiths Welcome.
We are a team of three (four, if we can persuade someone else of the female persuasion to join us!) keen cyclists, in the prime of our lives, taking on the challenge of riding 500 miles in relay over three days, in order to raise much needed funds for the AAIR Charity. The team go by the name ‘the Massif Stomachs’!
More details are here: https://challengeadventurecharities.org.uk/content/massif-challenge-2016
Please donate here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Laurence-Dunn4
The team are covering all the costs of the event themselves, so EVERY PENNY you donate will go to the charities (half goes to Cancer Research UK and the British Heart Foundation and half to the AAIR charity).
So please, give as much as you can – no amount is too small.
Jo Kelly will jump out of a plane at 10,000ft (with a parachute and a chap attached to her back) on the 6th August 2016. Jo will be raising money for the AAIR charity, who sponsored her PhD at the University of Southampton in Asthma research, as well as supporting so many other asthma and allergy researchers.
Any of your pennies will be greatly appreciated. So the 6th of August, somewhere in Salisbury, Jo will take to the air, for AAIR.
