It's a boy!
Congratulations to Emma and her husband Paul on the birth of a bouncing baby boy. Little Ollie Larter was delivered Tuesday April 8th, weighing a healthy 8lb 9oz. Well done! |

| We are a very small team here at AAIR - just three of us covering all aspects of running a busy charity and raising vital funds. It does get pretty hectic so we are always keen to hear from anyone who might like to lend a helping hand. We're a friendly and approachable bunch and the same is true of our many supporters. If you would like to help out or get in touch just give us a call or drop us a line - it will always be one of us that you deal with.

I've been with the charity for
eight years and seen many changes in that time. My role is to oversee the running of AAIR so the charity can continue to support the research which takes place in the hospital. Although we are a small team we try to cover every avenue of fundraising. I like to think that we have created a more personal approach to our supporters and hope they realise how important they are to us.
When I'm not working I spend most of my time dancing the Argentine tango, eating out with friends or watching a good film with Dotty (my cat).

I joined AAIR in July 2005. My aim is to highlight the pioneering work carried out by the research team, publicise our unique fundraising events and generally raise awareness of AAIR and its role in helping to find cures and treatments for asthma and allergic disease. It’s a job I love - partly because is good to know I’m helping make a difference and partly because the people involved with AAIR are such a great team.
I work two days a week, which should leave plenty of free time but somehow there never seems to be a minute. Probably due to having a home to run with my husband Mike and looking after our children Ellie who is 14 & Danny, aged 12. Any spare time is usually spent helping with homework, playing hockey and getting out and about in the beautiful Hampshire countryside.

Since
taking over as Fundraising Assistant I've had a
baptism of fire, sending out well over 2000
newsletters to our supporters. My role here is to
support Caroline and Tracy with the running of the
Charity and to help raise funds for the continuous
research into Asthma and Allergies. I am enjoying my
time here and having fun with the team trying to sort
out the details for events and keep track of the
database so no one gets left out. It's great to be
part of such a worthwhile cause, I had no idea that so
many people's lives are affected by there conditions.
I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully
meeting some of you at the events throughout the year.
